This helical cutter head is designed for YORKCRAFT YC-20P 20" thickness planers.

This helical cutterhead has been machined to provide an optimal fit for YORKCRAFT YC-20P 20" thickness planers, allowing for elevated performance. Our tungsten carbide insert knives are made from 100% raw material, so compared with HSS blades, this helical cutter head provides you 

  1. The perfect wood surface finish on both hardwood and softwood.
  2. The shear cut virtually eliminates tear-outs.
  3. Producing much smaller chips and your dust collection system will function more efficiently.
  4. Changing blades is effortless and does not require adjustment.
  5. No need to re-sharpen the blades any longer.
  6. 400% longer lifetime from our proud carbide insert.
  7. Feed faster and more consistently than the original cutter head.
  8. Dramatically reduce the noise by over 50%.

Any option includes:
  • 1 x Findbuytool 20 in. helical head
  • 85 x Carbide insert knives
  • 85 x Screws
  • 2 x Screw Drivers

  • The true helical style design offers a true shear cut: The blades are set at an angle for an efficient shearing action, providing a smooth finish with no tear-outs.
  • Upgraded insert knives: The radius-corner design eliminates the presence of lines and scallops, and reduces the potential for blade breakage.
  • Durability: This helical cutter head is crafted from premium steel with a black oxidized finish for enhanced durability and rust resistance.
  • The recommended torque specification for the blades is 6 Newton meters.
  • If you need spare blades, please click 15x15x2.5mm-30°-R150 carbide insert knives. 
  • In case you're unable to locate a cutter head that matches your machine model, we also provide an option for a custom cutter head.
