This helical cutter head is machined to perfectly fit the CRAFTSMAN CMEW320 12-1/2" planer (thicknesser). With this true helical head, the wood planer will deliver a noticeably smoother finish, eliminate tear-outs, and reduces the noise level by at least 50%.

  • Upgraded insert knives: radius-corner design eliminates the lines and scalloped surface, and reduces the possibility of breaking the blades.
  • Producing much smaller chips and your dust collection system will function more efficiently.
  • Changing blades is effortless and does not require adjustment.
  • No need to re-sharpen the blades any longer.
  • At least 50% noise reduction.
  • The recommended spec for torquing the knives is 6 Newton meters. Please refer to the manual for guidance on installing the carbide insert knives when replacing them.
