I ordered this cutterhead hoping to remedy the frequency with which I was having to sharpen and reset the knives on my jointer. The new cutterhead arrived in a timely manner, very well packaged and undamaged! The installation was a breeze and setup took five minutes. I couldn't stop laughing as I ran random pieces across the cutterhead. Simply amazing.

delivery was very good. The helical head works as advertised. The only problem was that the arbor or shaft at the pulley side was 4 mil too big so I had to file it down and then force it in.

I used this 15 degree horse nose to router the top AND bottom edge of a 4’ x 8’ dining room table made of 8/4 white oak , and it cut nicely. I took multiple passes to reduce risk of chip out, and I didn’t have much.( well one spot but I may have been the cause, IDK…) I would buy it again as long as the wait time for delivery’s ok, bc it’s not amazon, it took a week or more. But was worth it to me

Have not used them yet, but must say they will come in handy for accent thru tenon work. Being able to use contrasting material will take my projects to a new level.

The bits to make dominoes are excellent. And the cutters for the domino 700 are equally as good as festool. Find buy has a very good service and I will be buying from them in the future.

The head is perfect and shipping was fast. Lower price than the shelix but I can’t see any difference at all. Install was clear - just don’t get in a hurry.

Took me several hours, but with the right tools, install went perfectly. This is a VERY precisely machined cutterhead. It worked perfectly right after I fired it up the first time. All the inserts were seated perfectly and left a finish that was smooth as glass on a few very hard test pieces of wood. Highly recommend this product!!

The package arrived before estimated time. There has been no complaints so far, the helical cutterhead is a huge improvement in the performance of the planer with lower noise levels, less vibration and overall smoother finished.
