The helical cutter head is used for upgrading Grizzly 6-inch jointers.

This helical cutter head will take your jointer to the next level. Installation is straightforward and your jointer will cut much smoother and the noise will be reduced by more than 50%. The helical head is designed to perfectly replace the G6/63 cutter head.
The true helical design of this helical head allows a true shear action, so compared with the original blades, our helical cutter head offers you:
- The 30 tungsten carbide blades allow for a superior finish, reducing the need for sanding after planing.
- 40 times longer lifetime thanks to our premium tungsten carbide blades.
- The shear cut virtually eliminates tear-outs and kick-backs.
- Producing much smaller chips and your dust collection system will function more efficiently.
- Changing blades is effortless and does not require adjustment.
- No need to re-sharpen the blades any longer.
- Significantly reduce the noise level by at least 50%.
- To properly align the inserts, please tighten them to approximately 6 Newton-meter torque. Please refer to the manual for guidance on installing the carbide insert knives when replacing them.
- In case you're unable to locate a cutter head that matches your machine model, we also provide an option for a custom cutter head.

I have a stellex 6 inch jointer made by shop fox there was some dought if this would fit my jionter but it fit just fine had to shim the front 10)thousand but other than that and accidentally striping a bolt had to re-thread the stud but it works fine sound is different and cut is very nice very little sanding needed when done
