Helical cutter head for 6" jointer features

This spiral helical cutter head with 4 cutting wings will take your jointer to the next level, cutting much smoother and reducing more than 50% of the noise. The helical head is designed to perfectly replace the G6/63 cutter head.

Our spiral helical cutterheads are well manufactured by 5-axis CNC machines, resulting in excellent coaxiality. The tungsten carbide insert knives are made from 100% raw material, so compared with HSS knives, we provide you 

  1. Producing a perfect surface finish on the hardest figured wood thanks to the 30 carbide blades.
  2. 40 times longer lifetime from our proud tungsten carbide inserts.
  3. The carbide inserts are set at an angle, offering a true shear cut.
  4. Producing much smaller chips and your dust collection system will function more efficiently.
  5. Changing blades is effortless and does not require adjustment.
  6. No need to re-sharpen the blades any longer.
  7. The shear cut virtually eliminates tear-outs and kick-backs.
  8. Eliminating over 50% of noise.
  9. Replacement knife: 15x15x2.5mm-R150-4R0.5 blades
  10. In case you're unable to locate a cutter head that matches your machine model, we also provide an option for a custom cutter head.
  11. To properly align the inserts, please tighten them to approximately 6 Newton-meter torque. Please refer to the manual for guidance on installing the carbide insert knives when replacing them.

    Excellent cutterhead

    Bought the helical replacement cutterhead for my JJ6 jointer/planer recently, love it. The cuts are super smooth with no tearing of the grain even on knotty alder. Plus it makes the machine run smoother and the cuts are much quieter. Highly recommend getting this.

    Best upgrade for my 6" jointer!

    This new helical cutterhead was the best upgrade for my Jet 6" jointer, enabling me to get new life out of a 30-year old jointer. My old 3-knife cutterhead was difficult to replace blades and align if replaced. This purchase was far less expensive than having to replace my old jointer with a new one.     A Great Product!

    I have had thisJet JJ-6 jointer for ten years and not used it. I have now upgraded it with your helical cutterhead and "tuned" it as well. I ran my first text cut on a ragged 2x4 piece and it is as smooth as a baby's A..! I love it and now I have an upgraded jointer that I will use regularly and is probably worth 5 x what I paid for it. A perfect upgrade!
