This helical cutter head fits TPT125 12-1/2'' Thickness Planer, producing a true shear cut, which will significantly reduce the noise level and raise the cut quality. This heavy-duty helix cutterhead features 4 cutting wings, and 40 carbide inserts in total, offering perfect surfacing quality. Our spiral cutterheads are well manufactured by 5-spindle CNC machines, resulting in excellent coaxiality. The tungsten carbide insert knives are made of 100% raw material, so compared with HSS knives, we provide you 

  1. The better wood surface finish on both hard and softwood.
  2. 10x lifetime from our proud carbide insert.
  3. Higher work efficiency.
  4. No need to re-sharpening the blades any longer.
  5. Significantly reduced noise.
  6. To properly align the inserts, please tighten them to approximately 6 Newton-meter torque.
  7. In case you're unable to locate a cutter head that matches your machine model, we also provide an option for a custom cutter head.

Easy to Install

This was so easy, it took right at an hour to install on my jointer.
It's quieter than standard knives and puts a super smooth finish on the wood. I also took the time to wax all of the surfaces since having it torn down just made it easier to do.
