    Our helical heads are precision machined by 5-axis CNC machines, resulting in excellent coaxiality. The tungsten carbide insert knives are made of 100% raw material, so compared with HSS knives, we provide you

    • Higher work efficiency thanks to faster feed speed.
    • Producing much smaller chips and your dust collection system will function more efficiently.
    • Changing blades is effortless and does not require adjustment.
    • No need to re-sharpen the blades any longer.
    • Dramatically reduce the noise by over 50%.
    • To properly align the inserts, please tighten them to approximately 6 Newton-meter torque.
    • In case you're unable to locate a cutter head that matches your machine model, we also provide an option for a custom cutter head. If you need spare blades, please click 15x15x2.5mm-30°-R150 carbide insert knives.

    Very pleased with this upgrade!

    Wow what a difference!! The cutter head was delivered in two days, was well packaged and installed in about two hours. Almost dont need hearing protection. Although I still recommend you wear it. I ran about two hundred board feet of ash through the planer and the surface finish was like glass. I almost felt that sanding it with 220 grit would roughen the surface. Wish I would have installed it a long time ago.

    Super product

    The installation was not difficult ' I took the time to correctly set the infeed ' outfeed rollers, pressure bar ' tables. This difference in the reduction in noise and quality of cut was amazing! Lastly if you make the decision to do this upgrade be careful taking the cutterhead out of the box. The thing bites! Be sure ' wear gloves ' wrap the cutter head in cardboard or construction paper so you don't cut yourself.

    Watched several videos which made the install go smoothly. Having a gear puller and bearing and race seal driver was a big help.

    I can't believe how much quieter the planer runs! No need to wear hearing protection with this setup. The final finish on red oak is extremely smooth. Definitely a huge improvement over my straight blades.
